Bio
Dawou Tarraxo
Pioneer of Tarraxo, dancer, teacher and producer. Originally from Paris, based in Dubai, he has taught Tarraxo in more than 50 countries.
Raised on Afro-Caribbean music, he started dancing in 2014, trained in Kizomba, then in Tarraxo with Gwany and Kizzy, and became an official Tarraxo dancer in 2020, creating the first Tarraxo dancer team. He then taught at Tarraxo School in Paris, London and Dubai, and as a duo with Marta Tarraxo at festivals around the world.
Today he shares his own method, the TOCA Method, in books and online, and produces his own music: 29 releases since 2024, with YnG Cole, Ky Sheny and Mula Jr. His motto: feel first, then move.
