New drop — Devagar
Fresh out the studio — Devagar, my newest Tarraxo cut. Slow, deep, hypnotic. Press play and feel it.
Portuguese for “slowly” — a track made for connection on the floor. Deep bass, patient groove, that late-night Tarraxo feeling.

Two tracks anchor the catalog: NO CROWN TARRAXO (500K+ streams) and Shadow & Light. Press play, save them, and let Spotify do the rest.
2026 — New releases
Fresh out the studio: three 2026 cuts that push the Tarraxo signature into new territories — slower, deeper, more cinematic.
2025 catalog
The core year — five releases that built the streaming foundation. Tarraxo, afro and urban, all under the Dawou signature.
Album · Between Two Worlds
A full project — two worlds in dialogue. The Tarraxo identity meeting other textures, slow tempos, and emotional cinematic moments.
Between Two Worlds is the most cinematic project in the catalog — a producer's record, not a single-driven one. It bridges the Tarraxo signature with broader afro and urban textures, and rewards listening from start to finish. Save it to your library, queue it for late nights.
Where I am right now
A producer’s chapter. The catalog above wasn’t built for the algorithm — it was built one track at a time, with dancers in mind. Here’s the honest version of where this project stands today.
The producer chapter
Tarraxo started as a feeling on the dance floor — heavy bass, slow breath, suspended pauses. When I started producing, the goal was to capture that feeling in the studio, not to chase a sound.
NO CROWN TARRAXO hit 500K+ streams because it sounded like the room — heavy, hypnotic, made for late-night sets. The 2026 releases (Lambe Lambe, TU ES PARTI, Hold Me Down) push that further: slower, deeper, more cinematic.
If you connect with the sound, the most useful thing you can do is follow on Spotify. Every new release ships there first, and your follows shape what the algorithm pushes to other dancers.
What’s next — the DJ chapter
I’m currently learning to DJ. As a Tarraxo pioneer who has taught dancers in 50+ countries, I want to bring that same musical depth behind the decks — but only when it’s ready.
No bookings yet. I’m taking the time to build a real set vocabulary first. When the residency launches and the first DJ dates open, it’ll be announced here and on Spotify before anywhere else.
